申慈恩 （英文名：Cheren Seng, 1996年9月13日），马来西亚的创作型华语女歌手，词曲作家及音乐制作人。2020年加盟够力原创（KO MUSIC），并在2020年7月14日正式发行第一首创作单曲《我就问一句》。
生活
申慈恩出生于马来西亚森美兰州芙蓉，但自小就迁居吉隆坡。申慈恩从小学三年级开始学习钢琴，在上中学初中一开始学习华乐，主修二胡。申慈恩在2015年正式接触歌曲创作，并积极参与国内创作比赛。
学历
2013年毕业于马来西亚康乐中学（理科）及2019年毕业于拉曼大学（双溪龙，雪兰莪州）会计系。
出道前- 2017年写了《Strive to be Better》，一首代表大学的会计&管理部门的英文歌曲，但因实习的关系，错过了得奖的机会所以这首歌只能是属于“入围”作品。
- 2018年在4月的时候自行在YouTube上传了《Made in Malaysia》，一首以嘻哈音乐来唱出马来西亚人的社会现象以及讽刺当时的政府。在同一年，申慈恩参加了拉曼大学学院学生的活动，“三十趴”，一项全国大学生词曲创作的排行榜比赛，她投了两首歌曲，皆都亲自为这两首歌作词作曲编曲，并成功占据十强中的两席。这两首歌曲是被专业音乐创作人Aki 黄淑惠和彦辉精心选出来的，歌名分别为 《明知道》以及《求求两句》。
- 2019年11月份参加了“Produce KOL 练习生”真人秀。在同一个月，申慈恩自行发表了《Broke》，一首饶舌陷阱音乐为主的歌曲，凸显了她的作词才华和饶舌技巧。这首歌还请来了弟弟申铭轩（Ming Shen）担任主唱。
About Cheren
Cheren Seng (September 13, 1996) a Malaysian Chinese female singer-songwriter and music producer. She joined KO MUSIC in 2020, and released her first composition debut single "Tell Me" in Malaysia & worldwide on 15th of July 2020.
Life
Cheren was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia and moved to Kuala Lumpur since childhood. She started to learn piano since the third grade of elementary school, and began to involve in Chinese orchestra at the beginning of secondary education with music instrument -- Erhu. She officially started to write songs in 2015 and actively participated in domestic music composing competitions.
Education
Graduated from SMK Taman Connaught (Science stream) in 2013. She is a graduate of accounting degree from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR Sungai Long, Selangor) in 2019.
Pre-debut
- At the age of 19, she wrote a full song for the first time, which is "At First", it was specifically meant to participate in the songwriting competition, "A Song For You" organized by the Music Club of the university. This song was then selected as one of the top ten songs, and she got the chance to perform the song in front of 400 audiences on November 14, 2015.
- In 2017, she wrote "Strive to be Better", an English song representing the faculty of accounting and management (FAM) of the university, but due to inconvenience of having an internship, she missed the opportunity to win the award, so this song would be a "finalist" song.
- In April 2018, she uploaded "Made in Malaysia" on YouTube by herself, a song that is in hip-hop style. In the same year, Cheren participated an assignment of the students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC), "Mu3ic Pyramid", a national-level of song charting competition of college students' songwriting. Two of her songs, both written and composed by herself, titled "Already Know" and "Irresistible" were selected by professional songwriters, namely Aki and Yan Hui as 2 of top ten songs.
- She also participated in "Produce KOL" reality show in November 2019. At the same month, she released "Broke", a rap /trap style music. This song highlights her lyrics writing skills and rap skills. The song featured her younger brother, Ming Shen as the lead singer for this song.
